Terms and Conditions
Magshop is a web service operated by Bauer Media Group, which makes it easy for you to subscribe to magazines using the internet. By clicking "place your order" on your subscription order form and agreeing to purchase a subscription on the http://www.magshop.co.nz site (Magshop Site), you instruct Magshop to supply the contact information and order details you entered on the subscription form to the publisher of each magazine for which you have requested a subscription. You also agree:
- Subscription prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST and postage.
- Any errors made in providing details to Magshop are your responsibility and neither the publisher, nor Magshop are liable for consequences that relate to any errors; including but not limited to failure to send magazines to the correct address. If you change your address or contact details, you need to advise Magshop at least 6 weeks to ensure that the change happens on the correct issue.
- We endeavour to have your magazine delivered to the address given to us within 8 - 10 weeks of subscribing. Delays in delivery relate to when the next issue will be available. We endeavour to deliver your magazine before or within 5 days of the magazine going on sale; however, if delays are the result of NZ Post, these are out of our control. Magshop are not liable for any lost or misdirected deliveries.
- If your magazine does not arrive in the time frame specified above, please ring our call centre - 0800 MAGSHOP (624 7467) or email us at email@example.com. We will arrange for a replacement copy to be sent and if this isn’t suitable/possible we will extend your subscription by that missed issue.
- Retail promotions - as a subscriber you are privy to subscriber-only offers, however, you are often not eligible for retail "tip-on" competition or gift offers.
- Gift / prize promotions - these are valid for the dates shown in the advertisement. Anything that falls outside this will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Gift / prize promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless stated in the advertisement. Gifts / prizes are not transferable for cash. Gifts / prizes will be delivered separately to the bill payer and will be despatched within 4 - 6 weeks of close of promotion. If the bill payer resides outside NZ, gift will be sent to the recipient in NZ. If gift does not arrive, you must contact us within 3 months of promotion ending.
- Cancellations - please note that our subscription offers are non-refundable. In some cases we will refund any monies owing to you, but this will be made on a case-by-case basis. Alternatively you can transfer your remaining issues to a nominated party. Requests for cancellations will be actioned within 5 working days; however, any refund given can take up to 4 weeks. Any overseas refunds will be converted into your local currency at the exchange rate on day of refund which means we cannot guarantee that the amount refunded will be exactly what you paid due to rate fluctuations. If you wish to cancel a subscription via Auto Renewal, you must notify Magshop prior to the next payment.
- Cover Prices - Magshop publishers reserve the right to vary their prices from time to time and any price adjustments will be advised by letter or within the publications. Generally, at least 1 month’s notice will be given of any price adjustment and new prices will not apply to subscriptions already billed in advance until the next billing cycle.
- Inserts - from time to time publishers include inserts and other materials from advertisers and others with your magazine. The magazine and inserts make up a single solicited item for delivery purposes. We cannot separate the inserts from the magazine, so your subscription for the magazine is also a subscription for the material with which it is bundled.
- Payment - all subscriptions require payment in advance of commencement. You will receive a renewal letter before the end of your subscription that will allow you to renew. Payments can be made via valid credit card, direct debit, money order or cheque. Auto renewal payments are to be made by credit card or direct debit.
- These terms & conditions may be modified from time to time and you agree that you are responsible for regularly reviewing these and agree to any modifications.
- If gift/s is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute this gift/s to the equal value and/or specification. The Promoter is not responsible nor liable for any gift damaged in transit in the delivery of the gift.
- I declare I am over 18 years of age, or I am not 18 years of age and have parental consent to make this purchase.
